KASWE Fall 2025 Conference Save the Date!

Hello everyone 

The KASWE Spring Conference has been postponed and will now take place in the Fall of 2025 at the University of Pikeville. Please see the information below regarding new conference dates and call for proposals. 

It is with great excitement that I share with you the call for conference proposals and the save the date for the upcoming KASWE Fall Conference hosted by the University of Pikeville School of Social Work . Please kindly share the following information with your students and fellow social work educators and alert them to the new dates and deadline for proposal submission. 

The event will be held on Sept 25- 26, 2025 at the University of Pikeville. 

We invite students and educators of Kentucky social work programs to submit their conference proposal for consideration by August 1st by using the link below.

KASWE Fall 2024 Conference Invitation

Our fall Kentucky Association of Social Work Educators (KASWE) conference is on Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4.  Attached is the flyer and the current itinerary. Use the QR code on the flyer to register your social work faculty and staff.  We look forward to getting everyone together!!  Please share the flyers and info with any social workers who might be interested in social work education and want to participate.  All are welcome! 

Note: Social work students are welcome to attend BUT they would probably find the spring meeting more interesting.  It is our student-focused conference each year and provides an opportunity to share research and learning. 

The KASWE fall business meeting will be held during lunch.  You are welcome to join the board for their discussion!  NKU is kindly providing lunch for everyone so we will take our lunches to the meeting room set aside for us. Please contact our Fabulous NKU KASWE conference organizer Nicole Brundidge with questions!

2023 KASW Spring Conference

KASWE Spring Conference Announcement: 

Please join us for the Kentucky Association of Social Work Educators (KASWE) Spring Conference at Morehead State University on Friday, April 14, 2023.  The conference theme is “Emerging Areas of Social Work Practice.”  Learn about social work in public health, athletics, police and fire departments, research, telehealth, and international practice settings.  In addition, social work students will share current research projects.   

All social work students and faculty are welcome to join us for a day of professional development and networking.  Here are the details:
